Steps:
1. use the shovel to dig out section of damaged lawn. Check for weak roots and poor soil.
2. Dig out 6 inches of poor soil.
3. fill in the excavated area with a mix of topsoil, compost and sand.
4. Use a rake to spread and easy compact topsoil blend.
5. add more mixing and compact again; Repeat until topsoil is 1 inch below grade.
6. Laying sod over the area, and be sure to butt the pieces close together.
Cut sod be adjusted using a hobby knife snap-off.
7. be sure to zig zag on the joints between the courses of soot.
8. Water sod twice daily for the first two weeks.
