This guide is intended for use with kit #30840, which includes:jamb bracket pinspeed-adjusting springspeed-adjusting screwhold-open clip
Instructions:Pin is inserted through hole in jamb bracket and corresponding hole in closer rod.Remove connecting pin; open door slightly; slip hold-open clip over closer rod. Re-install closer to jamb bracket.Slip spring over adjusting screw. Insert screw into threaded hole in end of closer barrel and begin to tighten. Adjust closing speed as you prefer.
