Although you can create your own countertop of plywood construction and or with paint or stain and sealer finish, it is much easier to buy a pre-finished cabinet and attach the kitchen cabinet of your choice.  You can also create a custom cabinet built to your exact specifications.

The most popular countertop materials tile, plastic laminate, marble, synthetic marble, granite or quartz.  Many synthetic marble washbasins worksheets have poured into the plate.  Better quality marble synthetic materials are colored in the material.

This means that if the surface scratches or eroded from washing, it can be repaired by sanding away the blemish.  Tile is an excellent countertop material and is fairly easy to install yourself.  The trickiest part is clean and precise cut.  Contact your local tile supplier; often they will make the cuts for you if you marked the tile.
