Cover paint can tightly and store them in a cool, dry cabinet from heat sources and out of the reach of children.  Label cans well.  Do not dump thinner or solvents down the drain or sewer.  Store them in a tightly sealed container and your local waste management Agency have information questions.

Roles and paint brushes used with oil-based paint should be soaked in paint thinner for a few minutes, then flushed out by works of the solvent in the brushes or nap and dipping them up and down in the solvent a few times.  Repeat with fresh solvent the solvent no longer absorbs color.  A special electrode and roller cleaner is available that works like a child above.  It will remove moisture.

Soaking paint brushes.  You can save brushes temporarily in liquid thinner as painting with alkyds; use of water with latex paint.  Suspend the brushes by placing a dowel in the holes on the brush handle so that the brush bristles to enjoy in the solvent; they are not on their brushes.

Drying and wrapping brushes.  Spin brushes with two hands in a cardboard box to dry them.  This technique is similar to a bar of wood to create a primitive fire spinning.  This will in a box of calcium prevent splashes.  Wipe with a clean cloth and brushes wrap in clear butcher paper.  Save roles upright, not at the end.
