In this video, this House old plumbing and heating contractor Richard Trethewey explains how to install a faucet freeze-proof.

Steps:

1. Turn off the water and drain the old flexible faucet, also called the sillcock.
2 Use emery cloth to clean copper pipe water causing the valve pipe.
3 Cut pipe on a tool of tubes, and then delete the old flexible faucet.
4 Insert the new Frost-proof sillcock into the hole in the wall and mark its mounting hole locations.
5 Drill holes on the brand and inserting wall plastic anchors.
6 Shall apply silicone caulk around of the gel sillcock flange to the test.
7 Sillcock slide into the hole, hold tight to the wall and secure with stainless steel screws.
8 Use key adjustable wrench to remove unit sillcock strains.
9. From inside, a length of copper at the end of the sillcock pipe welding.
10 Use solder paste new pipe to pipe to existing water coupling.
11 Re-install in sillcock stem unit and tighten with key wrench.
12. Turn on the water and test your work.
