Copper pipe can be soldered or Sticking together with solderless fittings.  The process of soldering is called sweating.  The pipe and fitting thoroughly clean.  Use Emery cloth or steel wool to the copper Polish until it is clear.  A thin layer of flux apply to both surfaces and sliding up the serpent in the Assembly.  Running pipes and appropriate in order to evenly distribute the flux; Wipe it away too much.

Set the assembled piping in a stable position so that the joint is accessible and van brandbare stoffen.  Try not to keep the pipes while you solder; They warm up quickly.

Heat the joint with a propane, MAPP gas or acetylene torch.  Direct the flame the Assembly instead of the pipe, heating of both sides.  When the flux starts to bubble, hit the end of the solder to the joint.  Lead-free solder use when the solder will melt, capillary action sucking in the joint.

If you solder existing pipes that have had water in them, you need the system thoroughly.  Even a few drops of water in the pipe will steam which prevents solder take that cause.  Let a nearby crane open so that the steam can escape safely.

If water is still a problem, things some white bread in the pipe to the dam it while you solder.  The bread will loosen and flush, of course.
