I have a brain I guess in my douche.Qui pan caused the mold in the sheetrock and some mosaic to extract a part and baseboards to it rot.

Therefore, I need to know the best way I can remove mosaic and replace the saucepan and sheetrock and put the new mosaic.

Paula-

Thank you for sending a question of bathroom shower How To…

To remove the shower pan and a mosaic above the shower floor section, you will need to start at a 3-6 inches above the height of the dam of the shower mortar joint.

Cut all around from the inside of the shower.

Remove the mosaic below the cutting with a hammer and a pry bar.

Will for the rest of the procedure, I refer you to a preliminary question of our site…

However, I should mention that there are several things that you should keep in mind when you install the new shower pan.

1. The shower floor must be pre-sloped under the shower pan (1/4 inch per foot).

2. The material shower pan should extend from 3 inches above the height of the dam of shower.

3 Add block behind the shower pan against the wall studs.

Good luck on the redevelopment of the bathroom!
