A hardy enough on board or should there be a barrier to water behind the tiles and must insulation on the outside wall and hardy Council?
If it is rotten was the shower floor joists, effondré.2x4s rotten and insulation moulded… Ow this many bathroom must be replaced with a new product.
I have no ventilation in bathrooms, but have Windows although they are not open then how they are doing good?

You have some great questions… first of all, I’ll start with you saying that if one of your walls in an outside wall shower, you are required to place a vapour barrier “hot” side of the outer wall… otherwise you do not place a vapour barrier… you can place a membrane as Kerdi hardy card.
If you have wood rotted in the bathroom floor, you must remove the salt-water area, and approximately 15 inches surrounding area or later if you see mold… don’t forget that you remove any that have mold on it.
If you don’t have Windows that open, I would really recommend that you install a bathroom – vent it will make circulate air in the bathroom and help dry everything….
Good luck on the redevelopment of bathroom…
