My contractor husband, Alan and I love cooking, but the cuisine at our ranch in the 1950s may be just two people. When we finally decided to remodel, Alan told me that I would be without space for three months, tops. Which has been thought magic! The renovation has triple time. Despite this, we rarely ate foods frozen – and we only went out for dinner a few times. Here’s what I learned along the way.
