Cleaning and maintenance of Bamboo flooring is not much different from hardwood or laminate. The same basic principles apply, one of the most important prevention!


Make sure you minimize carpets in doorways of the dirt and grit run on the floor, and use pads under the feet of the furniture to prevent scratches and indents. Must be ensured with pointed heels and animal claws.


On the positive side it is good to know that bamboo can be actually harder than hardwood, Although bamboo matures and hardens in a fraction of the time!


Dry MOP to clean the floor must be sufficient, but damp MOP can be used when needed. Water spills should be mopped up without delay.


As with other types of flooring, steel wool or scouring pads should be avoided; washing damage the finishing of your Bamboo flooring.


Manufacturers such as advise that you avoid the Yanchi floors exposing to direct sunlight for extended periods of time. They recommend you also to keep the floors every few years a shiny varnish finish.
